Physician- Family Practice

Department: Clinical Family Practice
Location: Beaumont, TX

Position Summary

  • Physician – Full Spectrum Family Medicine

Essential Duties & Functions

  • Manage a patient panel consisting mainly of Newborns to Geriatric patients
  • Maintain regular clinic hours for a percentage of FTE as determined with Medical Director, as detailed on the service line’s clinical job description.
  • Provide clinical oversight for midlevel provider (s)
  • Timely completion of documentation and desktop management
  • Participate in department- wide activities including CME, monthly meetings, required trainings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Primary Care Specialty Family Medicine or Med/Ped
  • Credentialed and privileged according to Legacy’s standards and practices
  • Completion of accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Develop and maintenance of Clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols.
  • Participates in the Performance Improvement Program
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training

(minimum requirements)

  • Medical Doctor with current licensure.Graduate from an accredited medical school as M.D., D.O.

  • Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish
